Sec 1 Orientation

I just had my sec 1 orientation a week ago.

Lately, I found out that most people despise the importance of school and class cheers. Buddies tell us that cheering is the best way of showing the school spirit!
As part of the school family, we should be more excited and enthusiastic about shouting school cheers as loud as we can! Let us show other schools that our school rock!!!!!!!
Cheers are a symbol of our patriotism for our school, so as students of this world-renowed school, we not be shy nor embarrased when shouting with our voice how good our school is, since it is "filled" with students who are the top elite of Singapore! Let us be joyful and proud of this school that has a land of 10 norm. sec schools!

May the Force be with u,
Jonah

Yea, Hwa Chong rocks!

Cheers bond students together and foster a sense of unity and determination amongst the students ; also encouraging the school's competiting team , providing a strong message to them : " Hwa Chong is behind you all the way! "

This is the least we should be doing for the teams..

hey, let's have some perspective and not be elitist alright.

you are privileged to attend a good school so appreciate it. that comparison with 10 normal sec schools is really uncalled for. i get what you mean about the size of HCI, but why need to relate to normal sec schools?

just some advice from ex-hci senior. =) enjoy your time in HCI. =)
